Chuck Dawson and his family held a dealer and activist symposium in Corrales, New Mexico, in 1989.  Politically active dishheads, along with TVRO retailers and TVRO manufacturers met and worked out plans for how to make the big dish scene survive and prosper.  The main meeting was held in Dawson's ranch and home.
